lift kit

Its not a blazer, its a 1964' C-10 on a 73 frame. It's a flatbed so all it has back there is wood.

I think a skyjacker lift would be good. IMHO. Good company that stand behind the product they make. The man that runs the company is solid

1990 GMC Jimmy 350/TH700R4/NP241/10 bolts, 4" skyjacker lift, 35x12.50R15 BFG All Terrains on 15x10 AR Baja's, Flowmasters.

I think we are going on a 6" lift now. The price between the 4 and 6 inch is too small. Any suggestions on a 6" lift?

true...but you'll need more seering modifications, and your driveshafts might need mods or replacement.

Well the difference between the 4 and 6" lifts gets to be big. Vibes are more of an issue. You will forsurly need new brake lines and a longer driveshaft in the rear (about 2" longer) The front may need a 1" spacer for the driveshaft(might need this w/ the 4" too) or you may need to lengthen that one too. Add in a drop pitman arm. Last you will have a bit more angle to the driveline which can cause it's own problems out front or depending if you do a shackle flip or what setup you have you may need to think about a CV shaft. Basically I would probably say go 4" and run 35's, you can always trim the fenders some. Basically here is what I did w/ my 6" BDS lift...

6" BDS springs and kit w/ rear blocks for now

2 ORD zero rate add-a-leafs out back
raised steering arm
swap to 4.10 gears
drop pitman arm
Pro Comp SS extended brake lines
1" Superlift frt driveshaft spacer
Rear CV driveshaft from Tom Wood's driveshaft

I have pics before and during on my website listed in my sig... after pics and some closeups of the spacer, driveshafts, pinion angle, etc are here in my Webshots folder http://www.geocities.com/milnerlives_2000/blazer.htm
