I have a Question for All you Experienced Blazer lovers ? I recently purchased a 1990 V1500 Blazer 4x4 with a 5.7 L tbi Engine ? The Guy I bought this from has a 6" Superlift kit for the Blazer also . I'm going to use it as a Daily driver is this to high of a lift for a short wheel base? Also what size rims and tires do you recommend me run to get the best gas mileage?

In general, gas mileage goes down as tires get larger so if gas mileage is the goal, keep small 31-33" tires and as low a lift as possible.

Or buy a Toyota.

For a mostly street rig, I'd do 3" easy ride springs and a 1" body lift. Then lightly trim fenders to clear 35" tires. Then Run Bilstein shocks.

Six inches is a lot for a daily driver, I think over 4" driveshaft issues start popping up.

I drove a 3/4 ton 300+ miles one way every weekend for months. Had a 6" lift and 35s with 4.10s. If you regear, it will be as if it's stock. 35s with 4.56s...
