Hey everyone. I have a question I need a quick answer from somebody! I have a stock 1991 Fullsize Blazer 4wd that currenty sits on 32 BFG ATs on a 15x7 wheel. I got some 33x12.50x17 pro comp mts with some pro comp 1079 wheels that will be going on tomorrow. Will they fit fine on my blazer or will some modding be needed? I was hoping they would fit ok but if not could maybe some torsion bars be cranked or something? I have only owned newer chevys so I dont really have an idea on what will fit this Blazer. My searches on here where to no avail. Thanks for the help!

I got a 79 suburban 4 inch lift runnen 33s with very lil fender trimming at the bottom, when I wheel it hard my right front still rubs the fender! For street driving it may work, be carefull when flexing it out tho

well, going to firestone to pick the blazer up now. They said they had no problems. Will post up pics tomorrow after I wash her!

Ok, so drove it home, seemed fine. Doesnt even look like it would rub. However, when I put it in reverse, it seems like im dragging something in the rear. Almost like the parking brake is on. What would it rub in the rear? I thought if there was rubbing it would come from the fender well in the front. There appears to be no sag in my springs looking at the blazer on flat ground. Im baffled on why its so hard to go in reverse!

Tire/Wheel Combo

I have a 1991 GMC Jimmy, which has a four inch lift and 35X12.50 Tires. The wheels are MT 15X10. I have no fender clearence issues. I also have a set of polished stock Chevy aluminum 15X7 wheel, which I was contemplating mounting a set of 33X10.50. Although I'm not sure if the 33's will fit properly on the 15X7.

I'm running a Burb with 33's and no lift, but req'd a little trim up front to keep from rubbing when bottomed out and turning. Iwas told by a local shop that you can use 15x7 rims with 33's, but airing down the tire greatly increases the chance of popping the bead off. Of course a 15x8 is better and 15x10 (for 12" wide tires) is best for offroad.

Actually the tires would stay on the seven inch wheels aired down much better than a 10 inch wheel..
