Go for the kit with blocks then.

[/ QUOTE ] Sure, if you like axle warp.

[/ QUOTE ]
A warped axle???? Never seen a block do that. /forums/images/graemlins/dunno.gif/forums/images/graemlins/histerical.gif

If you ment axle wrap then that probably won't be an issue with a 4" block and 3/4 ton springs. I don't experience ANY axle wrap and I have had all 4 tires spinning on asphalt, towing heavy trailers, wheeling, etc. Blocks get a bad rap IMHO from taller, poor designed blocks. I wouldn't run a block taller than 6".

[/ QUOTE ] Glad you never experenced axle warp, but I did with 4" block and a add-a-leaf on a 6" lift. /forums/images/graemlins/deal.gif

[/ QUOTE ]
How did the block warp the axle? /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

[/ QUOTE ] Caused axle warp, not a warped axle. You do know what axle warp is don't ya ??

dark shadow, if you get f-150 rear springs, they are the same width as chevys... f-250s are .5" wider, so they will need to be modified to work.

get some spare rear springs and use them in the front
get a shackle flip for the rear

hey bud your back!

i know but i dont drive half tons so why would i make my sub a hafe ton??? i am still debatining what i an going to do, most likely kit and flip /forums/images/graemlins/woot.gif

This is too funny. /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif

Something that is warped is an object that was once strait and is now bowed or out of shape.

Axle W-R-A-P is when the axle tries to twist the springs and/or hop.

Now with that said....pay attention to your spelling. /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

/forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif From what I've seen the dodge CTD's are the best tow rigs out there.

Big freakin deal 10 ft/lbs more then a Duramax, Give me a break! /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

[/ QUOTE ]
Bah, try putting both on the dyno, the difference will be slightly more. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif It's the whole setup IMHO, D80 outback, D60 in front that is 4 linked, an nv5600 and a medium duty ISB cummins is a good combo in my book. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif Especially when the cummins can handle 350 HP & 800 ft lbs all day long and still live 400,000 miles. That is unmatched by the Dmax. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

[/ QUOTE ]

HAHA What a hijack!! I cant wait to get one (DURAMAX) and do my thang to it! I did my research on that "HYBRID 60", its a piece of crap. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

You missed the point....misspelling the word dictionary with "dictionery" is one thing, it's easy to still read the word and you can't get it confused with something else like say "dinosaur"

Wrap has a different definition than warp. You may have been just misspelling but you were typing a totally different word with a totally different definition.

What do you plan on doing to the D-max? I plan on going with the Edge Juice EZ module, good intake, 4" exhaust. Should yeald 350+HP and 900 ft lbs easy. /forums/images/graemlins/pimp1.gif

I won't brag about the dodge vacuum 4wd engage dealy but the rest of the axle is just as stout as any other D60 besides the joints. /forums/images/graemlins/thinking.gif

i spell ok but here goes with the bad grammar! i am planning on doing the same 4" lift on my 90 sub.also 3/4 to so i want to tow. rear springs look fine so shackle flip sounds good.ord flips cost $185 cheaper than rears springs by a bunch! you can buy the tuff country fronts from www.suspensionconnection.com for $209 for ez rides $219 for hd 4" hd uses 1 extra leaf. i just bought a 6" front set for my 67 gmc and shipping was $40 but i am only about 500 miles away from them. so you are looking at $500 shipped for front-rear plus shocks. my sub has rear swaybar so thats gotta go i guess? front would need a ord swaybar disconnect $100 plus maybe a lifted steering arm $50 as far as building a rear shackle flip it's worth $200 bucks for the time and possible mistakes to get the ord one and just bolt it on and go just my 2cents /forums/images/graemlins/hack.gif /forums/images/graemlins/hack.gif /forums/images/graemlins/hack.gif

All the basic things, the Banks kit, 6 gun, speed loader, propane injection, more boost, 5" exhaust with a electric cut out, beef up the Allison and whatever else comes along. Im hoping for 1000 ft/lbs. And some QUICK 1/4 mile times!

The only thing that is 60 is the spinner, the knuckles out are all "HYBRID", piece-o-junk!

Obviously I know what you were trying to say because I pointed it out and to this time you have shown yourself still incapable of typing "wrap." /forums/images/graemlins/histerical.gif

I could see how a newbie watching this thread that just bought a K5 and doesn't know a thing about lifts could get the idea that a block could actually warp an axle from your incorrect useage of intellegent grammer and wording. /forums/images/graemlins/histerical.gif
