no not another "how mush lift to clear 33s" question my 67 gmc that i had 6 inch springs with 1" zero rates 1" body lift and 35's went to a 4 inch and 32s
i figured i could use it as a daily driver and be happy. well 2 years later it just sits there! only time i have driven it in the last 2 years was when my tranny went out in the dd rig. 454=bad mpg and the ride isn't better than a farm truck so dd has become a non issue. well i have decided if i rarely drive it i should rarely drive it big!! i want to put 44 tsls on it. current drivetrain is 454/th400/np208/d44 front/14ff rear 4:10s. the rear spring hangers are mid 70s chevy style to fit the rear 14 bolt axle. the body is clean so cutting isn't an option, what do you suggest i do as far as lift to clear that tire size? i am really not concerned with articulation and such as this truck will be mostly street driven. any advice will help, thanks
