Lift question

ok, i'm sure that this has been asked many many times before, but, if i go up 6 in with my 86 k5, what kind of driveline issues am i going to run into?

4" will usually stretch, but at 6" you are really pushing it with stock length stuff. to have a driveline shop make yours longer is pretty cheap if the stock ones are i good shape.

My friend lifted his '84 and the front works fine. The rear shaft will still slide into the t-case and he drives it like that, but it really needs to be longer to be done right.

Had to do a little clearance grinding on the front,had a new one made for rear...
