Lift

IMO I dont think Rough Country is all that bad as people on this board make it out to be.
I talked to Tuff Country when I wanted a lift. Told them I needed a lift that could handle lots of offroad..... All conditions, inc: MUD SNOW ROCKS, SAND, high speed desert driving, daily driving and towing my 18' boat and 2500lb wood hauling trailer. They said NO WAY! to a EZ ride lift. I would wear it out in no time.. And said I needed a their heavy duty lift with overloads...... Hmm........I got the same thing from Rough Country for $250+ Less INCLUDING SHOCKS AND STERRING ARM.... Love it!... Lots of flex and rides good. Way better than I expected from all the reports i have read on this board . ( But I usually dont listen to what people say here anyhow:D ) It is perfict Perfict for my needs
I am sure that it doesn't ride as soft as a tuff country ez ride but TC Ez ride always seemed kind a mushy to me. I guess I just have an iron clad ass. They are They are great if all you do is rocks and off road. But will sag and go to hell if you need them to do truck heavy duty type work.

You Lucky dog U I have not seen Hide nor hair of mine and I am ONE impatient SOB! So man I hope you enjoy the heck out of them things. I know I will.

measuring new spring while off the truck.new front measure 48'' new rear measure 45''.thats eye to eye.
never done this before any suggestions would be appreciated.

Do not measure the distance across like a bridge. You need to lay the tape along the arch of the spring. That will give you the proper measurement:D .
