Lifted or Not?

My '88 has two front leafs and was ordered with the HD suspension with the "military wrap" on the front.. Do you have the dual shocks in the front? Mine does which I see as just a pain since I had to order two extra shocks for a stock vehicle. Went Bilsteins also. Just curious on the shocks and don't even know if it was an option during your year model. BTW, I got great prices on shocks from Rock Auto (they have incredible prices on square body parts but I ordered AC Delco plugs twice and received Autolites both times with no recourse for return..) Others brought up the fact that Summit will price match and has free shipping on orders over $99. Maybe that might help others.

Mine has single shocks up front.. I don't think the military wrap springs we're stock (?) Nothing in the vin to say either way. I ordered my Bilsteins from Amazon from "Southwest Speed" for $335, and the stabilizer strut through Walmart for $46.

Isn't the extra leaf up front the optional heavy duty front suspension for snow blade?

Nice to see you bought it. I saw it advertised on eBay after you said you bought it and was curious.

Did a little research:

Upgrade from 1850-lb per side leaf capacity to 2250-lb.
