light bar

TAG!!

Ive been thinking of either going with a light bar or either a cab over roof rack or roof rack on the topper. I like the roof racks that are track mounted, but dont know about drilling thru roof, etc.

anyways..............

Better yet, here is a great price one. Just over 100.00 for the Rota bar in polished.

Odd the polished is less than the black

I still like mine -- easily removed for parking or low-hanging obstacles, and has that "I'm a redneck hear me belch" styling :haha:

I noticed that too.:dunno: The polished are actually more everywhere else but if it's a mistake you would just get a better deal than expected.:D

When I bought mine it was 138.99. Expensive in a way but they look nice and are more practical with the ability to rotate down. I like your too but I'm not sure how I would get my top back on:D

Top? What's a top? :haha:

Yeah, I think fabbing a raingutter mount would be almost as much work as those damn rollbar mounts... and would have to be strong, cuz they're smaller.

This is the one I have. I like it because you can rotate it when on the trailer or trails with allot of low branches.

I have the carr one on my blazer with 4 lights its ok but I think I would have just put lights on the front instead of the roof. It is nice that it swivels down because I put it down on trails so I dont break the lights. I have pictures too I think, if you want.

Here are a couple of the truck when it was installed. Not the best pics, but all I have here.

Very easy actually. The bar goes behind the rain gutter and there are two clamps the go to the outside of it. When you tighten the clamps it squeezes tight on the rain gutter. Secures better than one would think too.

anybody have pictures of one on a pickup???? i've been thinking about this....also been thinking of cutting up a factory type rack and fabricating something with two crossbars, so i could have two pointed bckwards on the bck rack and 4or5 facing forward on the front. i need to upgrade my alternator first though.
