Light Bulbs

Yesterday I decided to check to see which lights work on my 78’ k5.

some do work and when pressed both brake lights work, according to my wife. Before I start looking at wiring, I’d first like to replace the bulbs.

a few snaps of which are out.

are they all the same bulbs or?

no there different just go to parts house and tell em you need brake light bulbs, front marker light bulbs,front side marker light bulbs and reverse light bulbs(might as well change these while in the tail light assembly)

I’ve read it could possibly cause issues with the stock wiring...

The only issue with exterior LEDs is the turn signals. For that, you need a solid-state flasher module. The only one that has ever worked for me is this one: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B075G5XX5K/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Doing in-dash LEDs is easy, too. However you'll lose the ability to dim the gauge cluster (LEDs don't dim with lower voltage).

For now I just was the old style incandescent bulbs all around.

unless you get the lmc led then it needs stock can flasher or i will fry the board(i read the directions)

You can get LL suffix which stands for log life. Supposed to resist vibration better than regular.

That'll work. Not 100% sure what the na means am guessing clear amber
