And in case you were so inclined to use/want, the 465 bellhousing has been used on the early GM NV4500's as well (with minor mods to the 4500), if you happen to have one of those lying around in your shed as well.

Saves a lot of money over the various bellhousing adapter setups out there.

I *thought* the NV4500 years that are usable = '93-95...but I've seen some reference to 1992 as being the first year.

Based on shifter location looks like using the stock NP208/241 shifter/location is out if you go the 4500 route based on this picture:

I'd think it should have the "round" bolt pattern one,the "figure 8" style wasn't used after they went to the 32 spline outputs, instead of the 10 splines they had up until 1981 or so..

Hopefully this weekend I can get in there and really look. It has been below zero during the nights the last couple days and tonight even colder. I can't wait for spring.
