Reassembling the dash and cant find where this light goes and looks like something plugs into it. Also need to know where single wire goes. Took this apart over 2yrs ago and no luck on internet. Both are under glovebox area.

Sorry I'm no help, I've never seen either of those. Kind of surprises me when I see something on this vintage truck that I don't recognize lol.

Is this a Suburban or high option/very late (90-91) truck? It looks like an auxiliary lighting setup of some sort, like glove box, etc., but again, I've never seen something like this on these trucks.

That plug is for a push button glove box light, my 89 blazer has one. 15814769874254779409594361816692.jpg

Ok thank you. I think the reason I cant find this is because I swapped tubs. I need to see if the old tub has the other part on it. The "new" tub doesnt have it. Mine is an 89 the tub is 87 I think.

I have this same issue. There isnt anywhere for the light to go but it’s there haha

The single connector is for the vanity light in the 90-91 sun visors.

Thanks everyone. Found out about the visor light wire and looks like I need to dig through my bags of hardware to find the glovebox switch, (no luck so far) and cut a hole to mount it.

Have you already cut into the metal?
The hole should be there when you open the glove box top center
