Limit straps

You completely owned this thread by using professional drafting software to demonstrate your opinion :haha:

Hey, what's a guy to do while eating his subway and talking about trucks with ten grand+ in cad softwares sitting in front of him

Karteck supplied adjustable spring tensioned upper mounts. Lowers are tabs at the axle.

$12k at today's prices. I was sponsored at the time. I received a massive discount.

Nothing like hang time in a full size.

Here is a silly question.

What are the benefits of those vs a fixed mount? Kartek says.
A clevis that allows you to adjust and equalize the amount suspension droop when used with limiting straps. Hardware is included. Sold individually.
Having a hard time visualizing how they are mounted. I have something to research tonight and read about now.

Never mind fount it and adding those to the list for my front end. They are used to adjust the length of the strap when they stretch over time. You can run the clevis up higher and compensate.:thumb: How much force do the straps put on the frame? Is It necessary to plate the mount to prevent the frame ripping apart?

I welded straight to the frame. But these need to be installed directly in line with the lower mount or the clevis will bend.

Reopening this thread since I know I need some now. Shocks bottom in the back, and the driveshaft will hit or bind up front. Anyone have pics of their setup? Bottom shock eye to frame seems simplest, but some adjustability would really help getting things dialed in too.

I looked through my few build pictures, no pictures of thase mounts. You do not have to go directly to the shock bottom. The adjuster mount is just a 1 inch long round tube with bracket to the frame.

A lot has changed on the front end from this picture, but the strap locations are the same.

Don't we have the same front springs? 12" shocks work for me and the leafs bottom out before the shocks do.

My driveshaft is hitting the crossover pipe. It'd probably bind before anything else hit if I moved the pipe. In the rear it's shocks all the way.
