It seems as if a lot of the hardcore yota and heep boys are running a line lock on their trucks. Now I've gathered that it's sort of like an emergency brake, but what are it's advantages? Where does it go? And how does it work? Thanks if anyone knows.

The units in Jegs and Summit work off of a 12volt switch and hold pressure in your lines, however prolnged use will run your battery(s) dead. The best set-up is to run a Mico Brake lock which is lever operated and does not require voltage to operate.
These run about $210... http://www.mico.com

However with these units, you cannot reply on them as a parking brake for long periods of time do to the line pressure will bleed off over a long period of time...

This is what I have been told, hope it helps you!!!
