Has anyone or know anyone who have got a full sprayed interior in their blazer? And how much it cost. I know a truck bed runs 275-325 I figure maybe a little bit more for the interior.

Pssh not right now, out of my 137 yards we are mowing about 95 of them weekly. My crews usually mow 115 or so weekly. No rain.. sucks bad, and mud holes almost dry.

Can't help you on cost but my interior is done, up and over the bed rails, along with the underneath of the inner fenders, guage cluster, glove box cover, ashtray, grill, headlight surrounds, lower about 12 inches of the body and up and around the fenders. It was done at the same time as the bodywork, paint etc. You don't want to know the cost of all that.

Mine is speedliner brand.

hmm never heard of speedliner might need to add that to the options. Actually was it over 1000 for just interior?

My whole tub is sprayed with a product called Relfex. Ran it part of the way up the firewall and up to the top of bedrails. I like it b/c it's rubber based and is a little softer to the touch than some of the other products. It also flexes nicely with the half assed floor panels the previous owner installed. Most places usually start at about $500-600 for Jeeps so figure a little more for a k5. Mine cost me $90, but they sprayed the stuff at my old job and I used to work on the guys car who did it for me so unless you can find a deal like that figure on spending a little more ;)

The shop near my house that does Rhino quoted me 400 to do the interior of the K5. This was part of the firewall, all the way to the tailgate, and up to the bottom of the bedrails. I am hoping it will prevent the majority of the rust from returning once I get the floors all redone.

the whole burban tub and walls is sprayed LineX, cost me about 800 and they did a great job, went over the door sills and everything.

Wow cheap, I am gunna run over there today and get a quote.

EDIT: Just got a call back, $800 and I strip it.

It varies by area. the local rhino place wouldnt even touch mine. and i stripped it competely. The best is if you have a couple of buddies that wana have it done also. then u can just buy an undercoating gun and get dura bak or one of the many other kinds and spray it on yourself. you can check around i got my gun for bout 40.00 shipped to my door. and then ul need bout 2 gallons if your gona do ur wheel wells also. do it in coats 2 light coats is better than one heavy coat. (just remember whatever bolts etc. you spray it on its very hard to cleanoff. so take your time and mask off good)
GOOD LUCK:D

I did a buddys in herculiner and we used about twice as much as the can said to use, he wanted it at least 3/16 of an inch thick. We sprayed under the bed rails (if you look you can find undercoating guns for about 20 bucks) and then rollerd the rest on. he liked the sprayed texture so after we got the base coat on we sprayed the rest. Worked really well. IIRC he spent about 200 bucks on stuff

Check out "TheDieselPlace". Lots of discussion on this topic.
Me, I'm going to spray my truck bed with black krinkle paint.:wink1:

Thanks for all the input guys, I talked to the owner. Cause he saw me pull up with my truck & trailer full of equipment. He wants to barter I cut his grass they do my interior

Between the 2, line-x and rhino, since they are usually about the same price, the line-x looks alot better in my opinion. My dad has rhino in his truck, I got line-x, and now he wishes he had gone line-x lol.

That is the one downside or upside to Rhino. They are locally owned so they can pretty much set their prices. Since mine is a smaller shop, they want the word of mouth that they are there, so they will do the work just to get the advertising. By giving me a good deal, they figure I will tell others and that will spread the word around, and they will get more business. But, I have also thought about Herc or one of the other do it yourself setups depending on time constraints.
