i think i saw this before but not sure.i have a 1987 k-5 blazer that i use mostly for hunting and recreational purposes although it is a truck that will daily drive.has anyone ever had the exterior sprayed with bed liner material?the body is straight but thought if this worked it would jus be awesome to not worry bout scratches when i was playing.thanks for any imput

I have seen it done personally I don't like it. IMO a rig looks better with battle scars and brush scrapes as opposed to a giant black sanding block. Thats my opinion, but its your truck.

If you go throught he gallery here theres a guy who did his and it looked bitchen! but he doesnt post much lately from what I can tell. I sent him a message asking about clearance problems with the thickness of the liner but havent heard back. I think the picture is called "speedliner" or soomething like that. He didnt spreay his black tho, his is an army grn or olive grn color. Looks killer tho

As I recall he was from Idaho. :)

It's been one of the most popular images in the gallery for some time now. Could save you some time to just search the popular ones.

I thought it was gray, it green? Looks cool either way, great idea.

oh my god thats cool......... I wonder how the coated fiberglass compairs to the steel in strength, i mean isnt the military experimenting with coating building walls with line-x to make them bomb proof??? leave off the top, doors, tailgate, and cover the seats in boat uppolstry, youd never have to worry about getting caught in the rain.

I think Four Wheel & Off Road did this about three years ago,
they used a roll-on product. (Herculiner ?? ) came out decent,
they said that it sealed up some rust areas, and the truck
even was quieter on the road.
