I'm looking for the following parts. I could buy all new, but I'm hoping to find a better deal and keeping it stock would be nice. The list will change as I continue the build.

Truck is a 1978 Suburban body on a 1984 4x4 3/4 ton frame with a 10 bolt front, 14 bolt rear, NP208 and TH400. I'll be building the interior to resemble a 1975-1976, though, as I have doors from those years that are going on the truck.

interior pieces: (preferred color is blue, a must for seatbelts and carpet)

Seatbelts; middle row belts (Shoulder belts). I need the male shoulder harnesses that bolt to the C-pillar and floor and then the corresponding female connectors.

Bucket seats, truck came with a bench I could recover, but thought I'd look for buckets anyways FOUND

Center console - FOUND

Dash pad

Walnut dash trim

Front ac vents FOUND

Rear ac shroud (the part that mounts to the roof) FOUND

Front door walnut trim panels from a '75-'76. (everything here is ruined on the top most portion because of the sun).

A pop out third row seat from a truck with shoulder belts.

Carpet (for 4x4 truck)

Front drive shaft, NP208 to a 10 bolt. The length between the two is ~34" FOUND, but it never hurts to have spares

Transfercase shifter with ball FOUND

Shifter boot and retainer (could I get a measurement of the size/location of the hole in the floor?) FOUND

Skid plates (Transfercase skid FOUND)

Hickey/Confer rear axle truss

Hickey grille guard (have one that may be what I'm looking for) - brush guards that attach to grille guard

3/4 ton hubcaps FOUND, but I collect all hubcaps too

Core support - FOUND

I have a front driveshaft from an '86 with that combination and an SM465. I recommend measuring exactly what you need to be sure that it will work. Not all the transmission options were the same length in 1978, IIRC.

Thanks for that reminder campfire, measurement and more things added. The measurement isn't exact, but should be close enough, I hope.

Ok, what I have measures 33" from T-case flange to the center of the U-joint. It has 1 1/8" visible in the middle where it necks down to go into the slip joint (so it is not currently bottomed out). I did not remove this shaft, but I presume it is at slightly shorter than riding length (to get the U-joint out of the yoke). I crawled under my '84 Suburban with 700R4/208 and it has 33" between center of u-joint and T-case flange at a fairly level static ride height.

If you're interested, shoot me an offer and I'll look into shipping it.

I have a complete shifter for a 208. I may have just the parts that you want, too.
I don't have a truck torn apart at the moment to get a measurement...
I can't even think of reference points at the moment.... :doah:

If you get a chance to take an inventory of what you may have I'd appreciate it.:waytogo:

I have a complete shifter, but I can't find the wiring harness right now.
I apparently left the linkage rod on the t-case, and sold it.
But I have pictures of the boot and it's retainer. I didn't take pictures of the shifter and the bolt plate. I couldn't remember if you were looking for those parts. I have a better plastic housing that I could put with this boot.
Could you please tell me how much you are interested in?

So I thought I had replied to this, but apparently not. I'm interested in everything associated with the shifter. I think the linkage may still be attached to my t-case, I'll have to go out and look again.

I just figured that you would get back on this after the holidays.
I don't remember, but you don't need the shifter itself??

Did you get a driveshaft? I know that I have a decent one, but I figured shipping may not be cheap.

I wasn't clear, I need the shifter and everything associated with it.

Campfire has a driveshaft that might work, he's checking on shipping this week. My zip is 85282, if you want to check shipping for yours.

Ok, I will work on that..
Please be patient as short work weeks are a pain!

No worries, I totally understand. All these parts aren't a huge priority right at the moment, so if it takes you guys a little while that is perfectly fine

I believe I have a complete 208 shifter. PM me if interested and Ill take a look at my parts box.

PM sent.

Updated the list. I may have found someone local with drive shafts. I need to contact them first

I found a linkage rod yesterday and cleaned up a better bezel/ indicator housing. The wiring harness that I have got cut so it doesn't have the rest up to the fuse panel. Sorry.
I don't have any measurements for location of the shifter still, because both of my '90 K5s have carpet in them, so a definite location is not easy right now.

How about $30 plus fees and shipping?
I would guess that USPS would be less than $20 for shipping, easy.
