So I've been out of internet for 5 days, and I could really have used some advice in these past days more than ever.

First on the list is my 14 bolt FF. I am going to weld it, how will it behave on the street? keep in mind my differential squeals a lot as it is. Also, can I/how hard is it to reflare my hard brake lines?

Second: I'm doing a swap of my 14 bolt, currently I have a grinding issue. Sometimes when I step on the gas something isn't engaging and it grinds and stumbles to get going. I'm pretty sure it isn't my transmission cause it does it in first, second and drive. What's the chance its my old 10 bolt? Cause I'll find out either way, but I'd like to have a direction to go if it isn't.

Third: My throttle is sticking (89 tbi) are these usually a pedal issue? or a cable issue?

So there it is, thanks for all the help in advance. Missed the help.

A welded 14 will be tough on slippery surfaces....as its locked 100% all the time. Dry roads...it'll just scrub your tires some.
Pop the cover on your 10b and see whats going on, could be a gov lock about to blow??
I got nothing on the acc problem.

I don't know your location for weather, but welded rear diff was the worst thing I ever did in a pickup on the street. Worst. Mod. Ever.

Also I'm planning on running 37s, so what would be a good ratio? I was thinking 5.13 or 5.38, I want it to be a little low, all I need is to go 70 mph, after that my truck will rattle itself apart. I was on 4.88 on 33s but I had 3.73 lieing around so I threw them in, and it feels like a gutless wonder now :( so I want a good ratio for my new setup.

What's the whistle about, are you trying to convey sarcasm.... Whats the deal?

That's why I'm talking about weather. You crackers in California have no idea what real winter is all about.

yep, were smart and stay away from bad weather...not fun to live in.

welded rear wears out tires fast...makes chirp noises every 1-2 shift and around corners, rain driving on the street is harder. For the accelerator stick, check the throttle blades for dirt or gunk on the throttle body.

I meant it like: "Don't do this, it's a bad idea."

Yea.... The most "winter" I see, is the pass to nevada in winter.

I'm a sand-dune kinda guy....
We only go to the snow, by choice... :haha:

But, because I have a Detroit out back, I understand my Ice limitation's. :thumb:
