List of Weights on Chevy Parts (Shipping Weights for Seller/Buyer)

Hey Everyone-

I had an idea of starting a post that lists weights regarding Chevy Parts, that way as people are selling items they have an idea on the weight for shipping cost. So- I'll start a Master List- Either post or PM me details regarding part desc. and weight, I'll edit the top tread?

With that said- Who has some weights out there? Looking for pretty much anything that may be shipped at some point.

Current List

Tranny/T-Cases

NP208- 80/90lbs Crated: 125lbs
465- 225lbs Crated: N/A
NP205- 130lbs Crated: N/A
465/NP205 Combo- 355lbs Crated: 420lbs

Axles

Complete Chevy Dana 60- 550lbs Crated: N/A

Tires/Wheels

15X10 Steel Rims: 35lbs Crated: N/A

Please note the above numbers are good guesses on what the items would weigh without Crating.

I sent a 208 to Noth Carolina and it weighed about 125# when crated up (with a few extra parts)...My guess is right around 80-90# for just he t-case...

I also bought a 465/205 combo that weighed 420# when crated up...I think the 205 is around 130# and the 465 is around 225# or so...

A friend weighed a complete front Chevy Dana 60, he said it was right at 550 lbs.

An average 15x10 steel wheel is about 35 lbs.
