little bling bling in the shop today update: moved 1 bench this week

got some used stainless for a smoking deal .

cut it up today and capped the 1 work bench today .

that's a 12ft long x 24" wide sheet . then a brace / rail that was inside the item I cut up I was able to make the back splash from .

the far end stainless section with sides and stick out was already there when I moved in so I just slid the 3" of extra under it .

now to find another one to do it on the other walls bench . need 20 ft for that one .

it pays to buy lots of pizza and be friends with the owner . he moved his shop and put in all new stuff. this was a left over fresh air duct box for the pizza ovens .

paid 50 bucks for it .

Yeah for sure! We got a bunch of stainless benches from a guy we know renovating his meat shop!

so I have always wanted to flip the position around of the back bench . also this would give me a spot for the tool box centrally located and out of the danger zone of the lift . also it free's up 30" or so of front of the lift work space with the box or bench there ( were I was going to move it first )

there is 3ft 6inch between front of bench and post for lift . ton's of room for work and not feel cramped . the bench is 16ft long . up at the front of shop the oxy/acy tanks will be and the extra 80gal air storage tank . tanks going to get painted black yet .

so here we go pics from cleaned up new spot to were it was to new home and toolbox new home along with great spot for the pizza table ( didn't plan for this one just worked )

now to just CLEAN UP and fill in the under bench storage with all the stuff I pulled out .
