Little punk broke into my Blazer

..I got a nice present Saturday morning!!...Some co#$sucker or suckers broke into my truck...They ripped the CD player out of the dash..detroying the bezel....They also took the portable cd player (I got for fathers day) I use for my work truck..Little bastards!!!...Get this ..they left my pair of Okleys on the floorboard..right below the stereo...They also went through my briefcase...leaving my wallet, a mag-lite a two-way radio...Did'nt take my CD's..( I guess they don't like hard rock)or my CB or pager that was on the center console...Lucky I guess!!!...i just wish i would have caught the little fu$ker...But I would probally be in jail now!!1...Just wanted to vent!...The dash is all that really pisses me off!!!...I hope he broke his leg jumping out of the beast!!!!

Do you have theft insurance? The mising stuff should be covered. The dash sounds like it will be a casualty, though...

Doesn't sound like a very bright thief, though...

Around here you can't have anything nice that is easily got to on your rig or the little sh%ts down the ally break it off. Told their dad about it and all he said was he didn't know what to do. The cops brought them home last week for throughing rocks at cars off the overpass and they are only 6 and 8 years old. WTF?

YA...Right in my front yard...on Skylark ..off of Airway!!...Cops took fingerprints( Hell.I didn't think they do that for just a stereo!).and a report!!..I have full coverage insurance...Not sure if and what is going to be covered...Have to check on Monday....Hey Puglsey!!!..I saw your Blazer in a parking lot the other day!!...Had to laugh...We have the same "Pirate Golf" sticker on our trucks!!!!
 
I love that sticker!! Kingman PD will probably do their usual - take a full report, then sit out at the old Terrible Herbst on Andy Devine and watch for speeders, promptly forgetting why they were called in the first place.

Yeehaw break in city for me... the wiped me clean like a year ago and I haven't replaced anything from that. The other 2 times they got in and took dumb stuff like pictures, tire iron, rc car and a blanket.... my garage has been hit so many times I cannot count. I lost hubs, tube bender, air compressor, tools and non blazer stuff like some old legos, records, shoes, fish tank.... oh yeah they stole a cepek tire with hole holes in and chains I was making for my friends kid to use as a swing... thank God I will be moving in like a year or less form here.... BTW, insurance don't help much, that is if you have AAA like me.... I'm sorry to hear you got hit. It makes you so mad to know you worked your butt off and someone can destroy it and steal things and the cops do nothing and you are out. Doesn't seem right....

I hate thieves. Seems to me thaey can take what they want, destroy what they want, and get away with it all. It's not fair to those of us that work our a$$e$ off for what we have.

<font color=blue>I simply removed everything from my truck that was not essentail to operation such as a radio and other steal-ables. I have all my recovery gear in one of those over-the-wheelwell lock boxes. Those are great because they hold a lot of stuff without sacraficing too much cooler space. Smaller or water sensative items (phone, registration and insurance, maps) go in my Tuffy console. If for some odd reason I were to re-install a stereo in my truck it would definetly go in the Tuffy console. Oh yeah if you have a soft top dont bother locking your doors because some of these theives do not understand the concept of snaps or zippers and would rather slice they're way in. A few guys I know who own Jeeps have had this happen.</font color=blue>
 
Try tying a couple dozen treble hooks up under the dash. The guy will be waiting all hooked up for you.

I agree, the Tuffy security console is the way to go. I have a CD player in mine and will never have to worry about it.
 
I like the treble hooks.....with my luck though, the theif would sue me for getting stuck while breaking into it though....

Met a guy once who had some problems w/ breakins and decided to put a stop to it... He wired his garage w/ some type of explosive that was enought to knock someone off their feet but not kill them... He was and exdemolitions expert and also kinda nuts... Some guys broke in one night and ka-boom... Cops show up and they said the guys were still dazed and didnt get their hearing back for awhile... With the world like it is I was surprised they didnt sue him for wrongfull endangerment... Cause lets face it just because they were breaking into HIS garage they shouldnt had to had their lives threatened...
 
I better not ever catch anyone f-n with my truck, especially if I decide to keep it! I caught some kid in it one time just sitting there playing driveway driver, and I bet he learned a few more words for his vocab. I also walked out one day to see two of my girly friends shoe polishing it, needless to say, I ended up having a great time with one of them that night(that's for you Wes)! That's a different story, different day. I'm definately going to go to the max if I keep my truck for theft stuff! It helps that I work with an ex-professional car thief. He's giving me the in's and out's about what works and what doesn't.

I'm moving 3 miles from where I am... my grandma's house. It's a nicer area. I can lock my truck up there too behind a gate. It's not fool proof but it makes it a bit harder to break into..... you simply need to come here is all I can say Wes then put my axles in... sheesh
