I was told there is a adjustable fuel regulator that goes in place of the factory non adjustable fuel regulator on the fuel rail on my lm7, I cant find it, does anyone have an idea of what I am talking about?

Your existing regulator probably has the adjustment screw it's just covered in a dab of paint. The regulator is on the rail and has the vacuum line attached to it.

I've pulled them out of the junkyard from 3.8 GM v-6's and used them without issue. You can order a new one for a LM7 from the part store and even thought they are listed as "non-adjustable" it's usually just a dab of paint over the adjustment screw. Knock the paint dab off and get the right bit for the screw.

It don't take a lot of movement to bring any change. a 1/16th to 1/8th of a turn will change the pressure 3-5 pounds.

early return fuel system rails YES . but later its regulated in the tank on the sender . its a security torx bit .

EDIT : my info is 8.1 but might be the same for early ls also .
