Has anyone had bad luck with LMC? Parts i ordered had oversize shipping charges per part number (ok) but came in the same box? WTF. Customer service, supervisor and supervisor of supervisor say thats the way it is!!! I also wanted to ask a product question and was told we dont have technical service or mechanics. If you want to order tailgate posts, don't! they are too big by 1/4" even if you are going over your oe post.

That's just what they do since they don't calculate shipping charges to the exact pound.

They are just a catalog house, there's no one there that knows about the details of the products. Kinda like Kragens. :)

My only complaint is the huge amount of styrafoam peanuts they always include.

i hear people complain about the quality of their stuff, but I have no personal experience

i was not impressed with their parts...

replaced my weatherstrip and window felts with parts from LMC less than 2 years ago and they already look worn and old.

Bought the dual exhaust system from them and some vinyl dye, I was happy. BTW GM Still has the seals and felts!

I had a post about it. I will try and find it. BRB

Found it!

So Friday I decieded to take a little trip to my local Chevy dealer. I thought I would see what seals were still available for the cab and topper on my Blazer. Here is a report on my little field trip. The numbers and first price is OEM the last price is LMC Truck. I ordered mine and most will be here Monday the rest will be here Wednesday. Also got better pics of the tail gate and door parts.

Last time I looked softseal didn't make parts for our trucks, mabey I will look again, I have had friends use softseal stuff on some older cars and they liked it alot

Weird mabey it was someone else. looks like soffseal makes alot of stuff for our trucks

I have used LMC is the past. Seals for sure were junk. I have also used soft seal brand for my 63 Impala. They were ok. I ended up replaced some for this brand.

I found they fit better, and the rubber felt like it would hold up longer.
