LMC Door Handles

They came in a blank package with just the lmc part number on them so I dont know who manufactured them. Compared to the OEM, they were just lighter made and appearing to be lower quality. I can tell you we installed them, and they worked. They are probably still working. But I would never install that on my own.

Good condition door handles aren't that unusual to find. I'd hold out for nice original parts.

I remember feeling the difference in the weight on re-pop handles and original ones and I kept the originals. I had intended to have them polished but I never got around to it. I am sure that the re-pops would work and in some cases look nicer, but I am all about original if I can get it. I can't remember if they are pot metal or stainless but I think they are polishable metal so you can at least get the spider webs out. I've been trying to make my rounds to parts yards but the corona situation has made me lazy. I think the parts yards are still open on Saturday as far as I know....easy place to keep a distance from others. You can find original handles and replace the plastic parts and gaskets

John,

I believe those come from a company called Ensure. I do believe they’re pretty much the same ones that everybody has.

This is what I got back from Automedaldirect.
