anybody bought the factory repro grills from LMC?

I'm looking to do new grill, bezels and park lenses for my 89 CC and wanted to hear from others on their grill quality before I pull the trigger on $225 all told....

you should know.
The one you have is a LMC repro grill.:doah:

well, it's old and hammered.... :haha:

i already douched it in black, just to even it up a bit... I'm more concerned with initial fit/finish...

Well that I don't know because I got the truck the way it is but it's not pretty I know.
I have a set from my other crew cab that is still original, it's in better shape than yours but in no way show quality, but I can live with it, it's just kind of lost it's luster, but no bubbling or peeling.
ANd yeah I noticed you painted it black. :D

I found one with all the lights for $60. I liked the price, these are hard to find where people will sell without the core support. I just couldn't justify the coin for LMC, plus with oem I knew what I was getting. Unfortunately mine is missing the bow tie, so I think I'm gonna make one out of titanium.

I have used alot of the LMC grilles, and headlight bezels. The fit and look are great, but I did the full chrome swap on my 85 Scottsdale and after 3 years, the chrome is starting to peel. My 85 isn't an outdoor truck either, It's only seen 7-800 miles since 04. On another note, the LMC stock replacement on my 84 POS odd job truck, looks like new. Its been in the weather and everything for 2 years and not a single blemish. I've never had one that didn't fit right.
