I give up. Trying to put my tailgate together today, and after installing all new rollers on the regulator, the pirces of garbage broke off. The rivets supplied don't have enough metal in them to flatten out. I noticed one of them off, and after pulling the regulator out, the other one pulled off by hand. The rivet has a hollow bottom to flatten and there just isn't enough metal to hold. I ruined one when I first tried to install them, and had to re-order and was very careful this time, but they are simply junk. I'm through with LMC junk!

Im weary of anything aftermarket.

I will say though that the rear shock brakets I bought from LMC for my ford a few years back were, I would say OEM quality if not better.

Ah yes, the cheapo Taiwan made reproduction parts that don't fit or look like original at all.... been there, dealt with that.

It's hit and miss, I found myself disappointed on a few things, and other items happy with. It just depends on the part.

Try Classic Parts of America, I had a little bit better luck with them.

I give LMC a solid 25% chance of selling you sh*t... but that # climbs to 75% if it's got anything to do with weatherstripping...

that being said, the majority of stuff that I personally have bought has been decent...

Their body mount kit was a good piece. That is all I have ever bought from them.

I really like my dashmat and rear dome light cover from LMC...weatherstipping not so much, but it gets the job done

For trim, or lighting parts im ok with buying from them. As for mechanical parts, there is NO way I would buy from them.

so far so good for me....I bought rear window parts that seemed to be of decent quality

LOL I keep finding my LMC rear dome light cover laying on the cargo floor after being parked outside everyday.
Mine melted! The "surround" got too hot from the regular bulb (not LED) and is all droopy. Cheap junk!

i ordered the weatherstripping from them like 3 weeks ago, and its perfect. Guess its finally my turn to luck out with my pile...

bought the tailgate rollers from an auto window and mirror repair place, they must have had 50 of them in a little box in one of their drawers. Mine had flat spotted over the past 20 years, no issues now though lol
