LMC Parts.... question needs answered fast!!

I just got my parts from LMC Truck... I ordered new tank straps, new filler neck tube and filler exhaust tube. Well, the filler necks are 2" I.D. but the tank inlet is only like 1 5/8" or 1 3/4", so I don't know if it will fit... anyone have any experience with the fuel tank parts from LMC and know they fit?

There is no direct connection between the gas tank and the filler nozzle. A rubber hose, about the size of a radiator hose, connectes the gas tank to the filler nozzle.

Maybe its the wrong application they sent by accident

I do know the one I have off a 70's truck , tapers down to the hose size that mates top the tank .
