I bought both left and right wheel wells/inner fenders and the left one went in great. No problems at all. The right ones holes don't line up, shocks are in the way, edge is all bent up. I can't even get it to set right. Anyone have this problem or similar situations?

eh, they're all the same Taiwan stampings... might be worth a b*tch phone call tho...

I bought some glass from them several years ago. The top edges were not straight. I called them about it and the problem was handled very well.
A buddy bought a bumper from them which didn't fit right, not terrible, just not right. They took care of it.

I hate the made in China crap, but at least LMC seems to stand behind what they sell.

All inner fenders on the passenger side will require trimming to fit around the quad shock bracket. That's if you have that setup.

Yeah the cutout is there for my quad shocks. But the holes aren't even close to lined up and I can't get it in straight with the bent up edges

Thanks for the info

So I called today and I explained the problems to the lady as she typed it all. She said her "research team" will look into it and I'll hear back in a day or so. But if I need to ship it back I already threw out the box.

Lmc did not handle this good at all. Their "research team" said that they sold over 1000 of this item and no problems at all. I said I shouldn't have to drill holes in it because yours don't match up and she told me to have a good day. Really got me pissed off. They charge way too much for shopping exspecially if they are going to give it to me in a box all smashed up. Unhappy customer.

That sucks. I Havnt had any figment issues from them Either. Maybe they shipped the wrong year inner fender. You don't have the part number anymore since you throw the box away though. Could have checked on their site to see if it was correct or Not

Wow, they were great when my 74 quarter panel was messed up, I just called sent photos and they sent me another free of charge and I still have the old one. I thought their customer service was excellent.

My experience went both ways, quite a few years back. Part was made wrong, they credited me and didn't ask for a return.

However, I also contacted them about the improperly made rear glass to topper window seal they sold me. It fit, but the steel clips needed to be spring steel, and IIRC the channel changes width, so the clips need to match. Neither was correct on the LMC replacement, leading to the seal randomly falling out of the channel with the window down. At my suggestion and their agreement, I sent in an old OEM seal that was beyond usefulness in the truck to their engineers or research team, and never heard from them again. I'd hope that they took it and had what they were selling changed, but I haven't needed to order another to check, and they never let me know they even received it.

I do have the part number on my receipt.

Years back I ordered weatherstripping parts from them for my 73 sent pics measurements, originals next to the replacements. They basically told me their part was correct even though it did not fit.

Basically they told me I'm wrong they are right. Over the years I have heard this same problem many many times.

I have ordered other parts too. Never been overly impressed with stuff from LMC

not over impressed but glad that they are around and parts for our trucks are available

Was LMC the first?

When it comes to some LMC parts (not all), you had better have enough of a brain to know how to fabricate a slight modification of their part. Several times I have had to do this, in order to make their part work. But it was better than having no part at all to at least start with because the part I was replacing had completely disintegrated into dust, and was no longer available anywhere else.

Gmc Paul's I have found that people like their stuff much better. Classic heartbeat is decent too. Lmc has been selling more and more China Made products lately. Probably where some of the problems lie. Last time I bought sheet metal I bought from a local parts dealer in New Jersey. Everything fit pretty good. Maybe Lmc just isn't doing any test fittings anymore in their products. Which doesn't help ththat customer at all.

There is truth in that...I had to remove the front braces from the quarter panels and move them and re-weld them to get it even close, so it's a fact that some parts just don't fit
