Has anyone used steering parts from lmc. I need to replace the adjusting tube on my tie rod, and all the parts stores around here say that I have to switch to a different setup. I don't have a problem switching, it is a little bigger setup, but at this moment I don't have the money to switch. In lmc the part I need is $40, the parts stores are trying to sell me 3 pieces that cost $32, $38, and $78. Those are discounted prices, I don't want to see real prices. Any opinions would be appriciated.

do you have a autozone? as dumb as auto parts people can be sometimes they are allright, had all three pieces for the drag link and sold them seperatly.

My factory steering linkage is the 7/8" with two tie rod ends that screw into the adjusting tube and are locked in place with nuts. I've checked Autozone's website, it says the same thing that the counter people told me. I've got to convert to the 1" design. That has one tie rod end, a short adjusting sleeve and the other end is longer and had the hole for the steering stabalizer to hook into.
