A few daze ago, I ordered for my '82 K5 a tailgate weather strip, and also the adhesive.

It came today and I installed it. This is a super mini review of both the product and LMC.

All together the order totaled $70. order was done on-line, and was easy as lard is greasy.

The received strip is soft and supple, a welcome replacement to the hard and dry rotted strip that was on the tailgate. It was so bad that exhaust fumes were leaking inside the cab!

The new strip's dimensions were spot on PERFECT.

I had no idea what type of adheasive I would get when I added it to the cart, but I received some LockTite (Sp?) professional grade fast drying weather strip adheasive.

This stuff is the cat's meow. I uses a generous amount consuming about %80 of the tube.

It set up fast and worked great.

All in all, Im 100% super pleased with both the product, shipping speed and LMC!

Next up, the upper window seal that snaps into the fiberglass cap! That is busted up and keeps falling out when I open the window... and dry rotted all to hell!

I hope this helps someone out... cheers all!

I appreciate it. Going to be more and more call for these as there is almost no weather strip coming out of GM for our trucks anymore. And based on past experiences with aftermarket seals/parts in general, it's very helpful to know what is made correctly.
