i installed my lockright up front, installed everything as the instructions say, kept the thrust washers the same as the spider gears. when i give it more then 1/3 throttle the driverside pops in and out of lock. do you guys think heavier springs or thicker thrust washers would help keep the teeth in contact better?

Been there , and done that with the other guys ( GG Quic Loc , aka Detroit EZ ) . After about 6 months of use .

I tried all different combinations , and it would work for a while , and come back . Kept having them tell me eithr the teeth are stripped , or the carrier is out of spec .

Bought an honest to goodness Powertrax Lockright , and had no problems for over a year and a half .

If your IS an honest to goodness Lockright , I would measure all the clearances and post back up and maybe Springer can see it . I know he would say use a new crosshaft/pinion pin as well , as they wear as the locker rubs it .

Get the thickest thrust washer GM has for it and a new cross pin.

is is a lock right, the teeth look fine. ill go to gm tomorrow and get some thick ass thrust washers, possibly get some pics/video of the slipping if its still going on
