i did a little searching, but couldnt find much about lock up converters with a low stall for my th400 behind a banks'd 6.2 diesel.

new tranny in march and i jsut smoked the converter, the work is going to be done on the warrantee, but i was wondering if i could gain some power and lower engine RPM by installing a lock up converter?

anyone have knowledge, advice, or even better, part numbers??

thanks,
rick

There was never a lock-up converter for a t400. The best you can do is get a lower stall speed, but you'll probably still lose close to 200 RPM to slippage.

Well, you could run a switch-pitch TH400 converter, but no idea how much those run nowadays. As close as you'll get to lockup in a TH400.
