Thanx:popcorn::popcorn:

been covered over 12 dozen times. and not to long ago there was 2 -3 threads with great info.

search locker and 60 should pop up.

my self i like options. so i got arb units front and rear. not in yet tho. long story.

lockright locker, cheap, easy to install, lasted 3years so far, wheel about 1x a month, not a extremely heavy foot but on 40" pitbulls, i drive it on the street plenty. I'd recommend it.

Lockright for like 6 years now. Have broken a few stubs and inner and its still working great with a 454 and heavy 43s

I like true locker like my Detroit. It has 4 wheel traction all the time, and still lets you turn when you need to. If you have a selectable, when it's locked, it's like a spool. Yeah you can unlock it, but I prefer to be able to turn my steering wheel easier offroad without sacrificing my traction at the same time. A detroit is the best of both worlds. Now if they ever made a selectable locker, (not a selectable spool like all the current selectables), that would be sweet. But I just don't think there is enough room in any standard diff to have both reliably.

I like my detroit (no spin). I have it in a 74 k20 with tons. Its a dd and a toy. I run 42 tsl for the trail. My locker has seen the most time on 39.5 bias tsl's though. I installed it about 5 years ago and couldn't be happier. Selectable are spools when locked and I didn't want that. My 30 spline stubs and hubs are holding up to it so far on the 42's. I have drove the truck a few times on front wheel drive only, and its a little jerky, but works in a pinch.

I have a Lockrite in my 44 now and Love it. But was just Curious about what others are using. ANyone using Grizzly from Yukon???
U DD guys How u liken it in the SNOW on the Road?

I'm running the elocker in the front, but I think I'd go for the arb if I did it again. The elocker sometimes won't disengage without backing up a tad if there is strain on the drivetrain. It drive perfect in the snow though (as long as it's unlocked) ;)

I have installed two grizzlies, they work and hold up just fine, they are the loudest and wort behaved it seems. They work just fine though

I just installed the lockrite... Pretty happy overall with, it but I really don't have a lot of time on it yet
