OK guys I'm going to re-gear. I'm running 35's,and while I was at it I was thinking about a rear locker! I dont do alot of off roading but I hate just backing my boat down into storage or getting one wheel in the grass and having to put it in four wheel drive. My F250 limited slip SUCKS! I'm not really wanting an ARB. Here is what the shop here is charging me... What do you guys think. Loc-rite in the front Detroit in the rear. Gears new bearings,seals G2 ring and R&P and so on. Its a 12 bolt. Total= $2666.00
Is that a good deal? I have no idea, I like the guy and he does great work. Will I really tell a big difference on the street with this rear locker? Tire wear, wet roads? Sorry for alot of these questions I just have no clue, this will be my first locker!! I don't care about the chirp!
