I have a Suburban and two Blazers with Lockright lockers front and rear and they work great. You do have to watch driving on slick roads they do act different.

Oh ok, I think I’ll start with just installing one in the back for now and see if I’m happy with that. Thanks for the advice

I did order a winch, I’m just irritated that I got stuck in that spot and after I got helped out I seen a few newer trucks go right over that dang hole. I was embarrassed I couldn’t make it and had to be pulled by a ATV lol.

I would rather make it through than find my gloves, get out in the mud, pull the line, find an anchor, make the pull and re-spool the line.

That’s exactly my thought. I will be adding a winch for situations I really need it but for a pot hole I want to be able to drive through it

You will be happy with the lock right or the spartan.
Easy to install and very smooth in my experience.
I had it on ice and snow and I wouldn't say it was scary as long as you were driving like you're on ice.
I know some people feel invincible if they have a 4x4 or a locker.
It's just a little edge.
An added benefit but you still need to drive smart

I hear you, and have traction aids in both axles, and a winch.

The rock @Blazer Ralph added help the new trucks get though.
