lockout question

My 72 K20 has issues when trying to unlock the hubs. It has spicers. The d44 I just put in the k5, has a spicer on one side and an MM on the other. I had difficulty unlocking the spicer side, is this a common issue with spicers? Should I get 2 sets of Warns for a hundred bucks a set and be done with it, or is there a better set available, or is it not related to spicers?

You can probably find Warn Premiums cheaper then $100 a set. I bought mine for $85.

next time it is stuck like that try backing up a little bit they bind up and can be hard to get into free mode when they are locked and bound up

10-4 on the warns. The last 2 times with both trucks, I had to drive them for a couple blocks before I could turn them. I remember paying $80 for a set of lockouts for the 1/2 ton front on the K5, so if I have to spend $160 for a couple sets of warns for 3/4 tons, heck an a.
