Trying to install lockright 1921 into my rear 10b.

carrier is empty.
i have both outermost parts in, i cant figure out how to get the 2center pieces into teh carrier while they have the pins and springs in and THEN install C-clips...

WTF!? do the c-clip axles not use the pins and springs!?

Put the assembly in the carrier WITHOUT the springs - put the pins in but dont push them through yet. Line up the machined slots on the side gears so they face to the rear - don't put in the center pin yet! Push the axles together in the center and slide the c clips in place, then pull the axles out against the c-clips and slip the center pin in place. Now use a punch or scribe to push the springs in the little oblong slots to lock the whole thing together.

It's been a few months since I installed one, but I remember it's a little tricky to slip the c clips in place.

Love it. Had an EZ-Locker that I chewed up so I put in a Lock-Right and have had no trouble since.

Be sure you removed the thrust washers that fit between the drive gear and the carrier, otherwise there won't be enough room; AMHIK:haha:

i got it in. and yes winslow i did get it. thanks a ton man!
