Just made my reservations, gonna do the Super 8 this year. Motel lodging is getting booked up in several of the motels. Cheapest and most expensive seem to be the ones that are filled.

So if you are planning on going I wouldn't wait too long for lodging arrangements. In the past I have always waited until a month or two before and never had an issue. This year may be a little different for those who wait.

What are some good Lodging options?

Hey all!! It's been many, many years since I've been to Moab... What are some good places to book rooms at? Also, is anyone going to just camp out? If so, where? I'm also toying with the idea of maybe renting an RV capable of towing my trailer too - any good RV parks around? Has anyone had luck renting RV's before? Or is that a joke that I shouldn't even look at?

If yor towing your rig on a trailer, I doubt there's a company who will rent you an RV knowing that.

I may camp. Trying to save some funds.

My buddy rented a camper and towed to KOH with it. They didn't have a problem with it. But it was not cheap.

Amber just got a call from Moab Rim. We had originally booked a cabin, then changed our mind to a different cabin, they never cancelled our reservation for the original cabin.

They have left it in our name for the time being so that we can make sure someone going to Blazer Bash gets it.

It's a deluxe cabin, $69/night, pets allowed, 1 Queen and a bunk bed.

We hadit booked from the 21st, checking out on the 30th so that should cover what most people plan on staying for.

Please post up if you're interested, then send me a PM. I will pass it on to the first person to respond.

If he can't use it I know I need it, my grandfather is flying in and I really don't want to make him camp

When I stayed there the first year I went they did not have to much room for that, that was like five years ago.

I just booked a deluxe cabin at the Moab KOA, I was surprised they still had anything available! Not too expensive, and includes a bathroom, heat and ac. I normally like motel rooms but miss being able to have a campfire, so maybe this will be a happy medium? I'm booked Wednesday through Monday. Anyone else staying at this campground???
