Just to let everyone know

The lodging in Moab gets real tight in the next few weeks.
If you haven't reserved rooms or campground space do so ASAP

TTORA is also going to be in town at this same time and they stay at the Motel 6 as well. Their group is around the same size as ours so the Motel is going to be around half full just with these two groups.

GET YOUR RESERVATIONS NOW.

Don't forget the Yoga Festival is in town too.

So how torn between going to the Yoga Festival and wheeling are you. Knowing you I can tell this is a tough decision, hang with your peacful yoga peeps or get out and see the country with the wild fourwheeling crowd.

Maybe I should make hotel reservations too, just in case it rains again I will have a back up!!

Nah, I will just tough it out :0)

Hotels are for guys that have sissy orange buggies.....:D
I guess "Jack" won't be entertaining this year since he has to stay at home with the dogs. Maybe you can get a hall pass and join us at camp for a beer:thumb:

If the Wifey and kido come that is where this trailer queen will be residing. If they don't come I will sleep where I pass out. :D

Wifey doesn't do the camping gig with the kido, just learning to walk and camping isn't my idear of fun.

I would think with the cost of Gas and food you would be trying to save some money and camp at Slickrock.

How far is it for you agian. 36,960 feet?

I'm booked for the trailer queen park :D
The holy gods of mud and yoga said it will rain hard one night  .

DID YOU SAY DOUGHNUTS??

Hmm I may have to set up a Krispy Kreme relay since they closed the one in Grand Junction:mad:  Oh wait I forgot they are power rings not doughnuts.

I'm just jealous that I don't have a trailer or a tow rig for that matter. It can rain all it wants since I am in a cabin this time.

Motel 6

Made reservations today. Heavily accented clerk said he had never heard of Blazer Bash and that there was no discount available and was I from this country. I assured him I was and booked at $81.95/night. So much for prior organization.

Call them back during the day and talk to Gabriel the manager.
He is the one that is working the deal.
I'm booked for $71.00 a night ( I believe).

when I made my Motel 6 Reservations a few weeks ago I was told the same thing about never hearing of Blazer Bash, I then found out I was talking to someone in NEW YORK and not Moab. the lady said that they would discount at time of check in

To get the best deal you need to call the MOAB Motel 6 not the nation wide reservations number.

If less then ten rooms are requested for Blazer bash we get no discount. At the time of check in make sure to let them know you are with Blazer bash.

Also I have been booking multiple rooms there for years and have always had some small snafu with the reservation. Call in a week or so and verify your reservation.
