Lokar pics

lokar has a listing of all their distributors on their website. I paid $175 for my 23" nostalgia. that was 7-8 years ago when they first came out. now they are $209 on summit.

one of the neat features is that you can mount the shifter base in several different positions. you can put it all the way at the front of the bracketry like jkzblazer did and have the shifter lean back, or all the way at the back of the brackets and have a more upright lever.

everything installs with allen wrenches and basic open ended wrenches. If you have carpet it adds a lot of time. you can pretty much do the whole job from the driver seat.

Now that sounds simple but I want it right on the tranny so does that mean i would have to cu a big hole in the tranny hump? Or should i juts make my hump removable?

just make your hump removable? all you need is a small dia hole in the hump.

Oh i thought i would need a big hole there to get all the stuff in and hooked up. so its that simple that a lil hole will work ? Any pics of the lil anyone had to cut?

if you have a blazer, which i htink you do, the tranny tunnel should just unbolt. it'll probably have somenasty sealant tho which makes it difficutl to pry up. sometime, pull your carpet back and take a look. :)

the hole I cut to clear the shifter was smaller then a coffee can. that was when I first put it in. when I installed a body lift I had to elongate the hole some.

I will take some pics of mine tonight if I remember. I split the trans hump in half so that it is easier to take in and out now that there is such a tall shifter in there.

Some year models the tranny hump was bolted down and some were glued down. The glued down ones are a pain to remove.

Here is the only pic of the hole that I had to make for the shifter. Its about 4 inchs by 3 inches.

some pics for you. this is a 23" tall nostalgia shifter, 3" body lift and a custom 2 peice trans hump. best part is I have three pedals so everyone thinks it's a stick shift.
