I've been looking everywhere for a 1949 chevrolet 4100 truck cab. I thought maybe someone on here might be able to help. If ya have one or know where one is located please let me know. Thanks for any help!

Do you mean 3100? I've never heard of a 4100 before unless of course that happens to be what they call the 3/4 ton trucks. At any rate the cab is the same from 1949-1953 IIRC. I used to own every year of those trucks from 1949-1954.

there's been one i've seen off and on ebay several times over the last couple months in new jersey, guy had a truck he was wanting to restore and just never got around to it.... used to me an old delivery truck or some such - one of the big ones with the 2spd rear axle, sounds like what you'd be looking for if he still has it/you can find it.....

Nope! Not 3100. It's a 4100 That's what it states on the side of the hood. It's a fuel oil truck just guessing I would say 1 1/2 ton?

Ok, well i was thinking small truck not commercial truck stuff.

I'm sure there are a lot of them (compared to other area's anyway) sitting in fields and back country lots in Central Oregon and Eastern Washington... I just don't know exactly where to find one right now.

Like you said in the weeds. Forgoten about left to waste away. Chances are I'll locate one out west somewhere since salt has rusted them all away around this part of the country.

One in Reno

There is a 56 or 57 sitting just north of Reno, nv- buddy and i went and looked at it a while back. Think they wanted $300 for it. Dont have the number any more but I could tell you how to get there!!
