Welp, this is the 2nd clock that went bad. The first one died after a week or so. This one lasted about 9-10months. Im done with it. all my other autometer gauges work great. Anyways, it was their PRO-COMP Ultralight series in silver. Im jus going to get some other gauge to fill in the spot where the clock went. ive got oil press. water temp and volts now. I may jus get a vacuum gauge so I can watch the dial move back and forth while I drive. lol.

Anyways, anyone contemplating the CLOCK , Id recommend against it. Hoping to find the reciept and maybe send it back to summit or autometer directly. Im not going to take the hit on this, considering its the 2nd bad one.

Autometer sells a transmission temperature manifold adapter that taps inline to the "hot" line going to the tranny cooler in the radiator. I can take a pic of it in the morning if you would like.

yeah taht be cool.

I did a search (after I posted. .lol) and there was alot of good info on here about this very subject. So I may get the tranny temp gauge. Bad part is, I jus changed my fluids (pan got pulled) I shouldve replaced the pan with aftermarket with drain plug, etc.

Is the hot side and the pan going to net the same results in temp readings? It seems alot of ppl were saying that the pan is optimum place to get a good reading.

if you could that would be great.

Sorry it took so long to get the pics up. Like I said in the PM, my intentions were good, I just got distracted and ended up not getting them shot. Hopefully they show up good. I took them in the dark tonight with the help of a flashlight. Let me know if there are more specific shots you want.

Glad I can help. The only thing I didn't like was that the lines were vertical. I had a problem with the bottom line leaking a little at first and had to redo it a couple times to get it right. I don't think I would have had that problem if the lines were horizontal. It would have also been much easier to work with. Kind of a tight spot to work in.
