I’m rebuilding my front end and ordered a bunch of parts from rock auto. The super long tie rod end that bolts to the steering stabilizer and driver side spindle looks completely correct except for where the stabilizer mounts. That stud you see in the pics on my old one doesn’t appear to disconnect in order to bolt on to my new one. But all the pictures online for this part show it with just the hole like you see in the pics. Does that stud come off somehow and I’m just missing it?

The studs is in a hole in the old tie rod. It is probably just held in by rust. Try some heat and a brass hammer to tap it out.

Shop around a little bit when you buy a stabilizer… some will come with new tapered studs (And not cost much more than one that comes without it), thereby no need to wrestle the old one out for reuse.

I used to just run house brand 4wheel parts stabilizers, but the recently informed me they no longer make them. So I ordered a Rancho unit from Amazon with the replacement stud
