Long time no see CK5

I'm not sure how many of you remember me.....I did a restoration of a 1986 k5 blazer a few years back (Motor, floor, paint/body) Project Video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nLJ-Yqzt8DQ. I had to put it on hold because of the economy. (I'm a flooring contractor). Now that things are staying steady work wise for now. My wife (got married on 09/05/2009) and I are in the process of buying a house. The house comes with a 2 bay garage. I plan on re-starting my k5 project. All the major stuff I already took care of back in 2005-2007. I need to repaint the blazer.....rust bullet and clear coat does not bond to each other.

Hows everyone been? I just mainly wanted to stop by and say hello.

76zimmer - what where you doing up my way? Yeah we still are on our 1 year honeymoon.

I cleaned off my Blazer for the first time in 2 years. My wife says "it really looks good when it's wet....you know you can start working on it in your new garage if we get the house". So I guess I can use that on her when she starts complaining about all the $$$ I'm going to be spending on it the next few years.

The only thing that I'm worried about is the motor. The 350 only has 6-8 thousand miles on it and out of no where it started to foul plugs like a mofo. I have changed out the carb 6 times, new dizzy, new plugs and wires. Fuel/vacuum pressure was decent. I took it to one of the better garages before It sat and they couldn't find the cause.

ohh yeah I did the unthinkable I bought a 2001.5 Dodge ram 1500 Quad cab (Rust free). It has a 318 with a auto. It books for around 5,000 I picked it up for 3600.00 the guy wanted $4200. The only thing that I don't like about it is it's 2wd. But I bought it out right so not having a payment is a plus.
