just wanted to know what kinds of shocks people are using out there with alot of travel. Would like to find something with about 12-13 inches of movement besides the 9012s thanks

Dotsch Tech manufactures the PreRunner in long travel lengths the 8333 has 11" for the rear on stock mounts, and the 8368 (front) has 12.5" on custom mounts - I paid $37 a piece for mine. They also have longer applications too. Fox, Bilstein, King, and Sway-a-way to name a few also make gonzo travel shocks.

I am running doetsch tech shocks on the rear of my truck and they have 14 inches of travel. Do not remember the catalog number. They were also $37.00 a piece.

Iv got Rancho 5112s in the rear and I think they have about that much travel

I run the doetsch tech shocks front and rear. They have at least a foot of travel. When you buy them ask them for the shocks for a 8 inch lift.

Sounds like this is a great deal. Who sells the Doetsch shocks? I would like to look into them when I redo my front shock mounts. Those that are running them, do you like them?

I got mine from Summit Racing. After I installed the rears yesterday, my Ranchos took a one way ticket to the scrap heap - much better product in the Doetsch Techs.

How are those Doetsch Techs compared the Rancho 5000's? How are they on the washboard like roads? I'm looking to ditch these BDS shocks. Would love Blit's, but really hate to shell out $70 a shock so have been kicking around Trailmaster SSV's and DT's

The Doetsch's are killer on washboard - they were designed around Baja, and are valved very similar to Bilsteins, but with a bigger piston and shaft.

OK Jeff, I've checked the Summit catalog and their web site and can't find anything on the Doetch Tech shocks...

Where did you see them listed?

Does Doetch Tech have a site?

All the shocks are $34.39 from summit. Here is the search link, just enter the manu. & part number. http://www.doetsch-shocks.com/page20.htm
