Waiting for a helicopter and bored as hell i started looking for some readily available brake lines for our K5s that are longer, and off the shelf. So for the ~1980+ (with 10mm banjo) they are 15.75 inches long. With a 3/8x24 female and a 10mm banjo in them http://www.oreillyauto.com/site/c/d...=Search_03349_1061558_3107&pt=03349&ppt=C0066
After some looking around, i found ones for a 1995 k3500 with single rear wheels (the dualie hoses are about 1" shorter) are 22.5 inches long and have the same size fittings.

Any one try this? I think im going to when i get home.

I used hoses off a 90 model 2wd and they were about 5" longer than stock I think

as long as the hoses you are looking at have the correct ends I bet they will work fine.

I used the same hoses on mine and I've never had an issue with them.

I dont' remember which ones I have used in the past but I think they are the IFS 2wd front hoses too.

IIRC they were a touch longer than the 4wd hoses but I could be wrong
