well. im surprised your neighbors havent tried to get any one to tell you to remove some of those vehicles. me, myself am in the same predicamint but not quite to that extent. any who. i have one of the ghetto garages as well, gets super cold but it holds the blazer so i can work on it.

"Ghetto Garage"??

Dont despair about the "ghetto garage"---my quonset hut with 2- 55 gallon barrel stoves is still a freezer, even with both of them roaring!--I hate working in the winter on vehicles, inside OR outside--when its 15 degrees out,it sucks either way--its nice being out of the wind though--I spend more time gathering and cutting wood, and feeding the stove than I do working in the winter--I have an oil fired hot air furnace, but no tank for the oil--I run it off 5 gallon pails if I absolutely have too--but diesel fuel is expensive, and I'm almost broke,so I'm gathering lots of pallets and scraps from new house construction and any other place that gives wood away--and I only work on the trucks if they are broke(usually more often than not!)--the rest of the time I stay in the"BTU room" with one of the stoves and a tv set--its 4'X10' and an 8' ceiling in that "shack" I built in one corner of the shop, and try to avoid freezing to death....I have to go in there every few minites to thaw out my frostbitten fingers while wrenching on my trucks in the winter...better than doing it outside though--I suffered a long time with no garage--pretty soon I might not hav this one either unless things improve rapidly around here!:frown1:

I like seeing all those old GM trucks in front of your house!!Its nice some people arent so quick to scrap everything, and appreciate the older trucks--we need to save as many as we can--older trucks are becoming scarce around here--rust free ones anyway--:frown1:
