i jus got this 85 jimmy for 400 bucks what do ya think? did i get ripped?the guy said it ran but the motor blew, so im gona put in a 355 i have.

yea it was a lot of rust, i used 11 gauge square to re do the bed area(see pics) now im debating on what to put on the bed? sheet metal, dimond plate........? now its mostly all out side body work i need to do
 
Looks like a lot of work, but its all in good fun eh? /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif Ive been re doing my interior with diamond plate and I like it so far. I will probably have the back end done by middle of next week and I will post some more pics so you can see what it looks like and if thats the way you wanna go. I'm only doing the side panels though, I can't see through my floor like you could. Have fun diamond plate interior started

i may jus put some sheet metal and roll some beads in it and screw it down so its removable, its really nice being able to get to all the stuff under there

Looks like a good time to do some stuff there ( things I have planned someday as well ) . You could do inboard shocks really easy , and get long ones , heck you could make several mounting holes and adjust them by removing the sheetmetal you planned on laying down. You could also run a longer vent hose up into the rear cab and cap it with a filter , right up to topper level in the corner /forums/images/graemlins/k5.gif
