Look at this K5 I found on ebay

Yeah very nice. Where do these things keep coming from? Seems like lately the low mileage blazers and trucks are coming out of the woodwork.

Sad it had 10,000 miles on it when they swapped the engine out. Would have been worth more if the original 305 was in it.

yup, why change the motor if it only had 10,000 miles

It been hit before and fixed the fender seams don't line up the under hood insulation is aftermarket.

Swapping out the 305 makes no sense at all, none, I'm calling BS on the low miles it loooks in too good of shape to be that. Like its been made to look like it has low miles not original.

fender stripes don't match but the body moulding does, tailgate moulding does not match either. The factory didn't build them that way

wheel well carpet is a different color then the floor carpet

and I don't think factory seats had zippers on the back of them

Very nice. But, I agree... wont get anywhere near the asking price. Not all oringial with the engine swapped and even if it was... not like its a collectors piece or something.

Fenders look to line up about as good as they did in the 80s.. unless I am missing it. I see no signs of an accident.

Moulding looks fine to me. The camera can reflect light to make them look slightly different in color. I think you are being way over critical.

Seats look factory to me... same with the carpet. And... I think that the insulation does come on some years from the factory, mine has it too.

hehe, the wife just came over and said "Why are you lookin at pictures of brownie?" (brownie is the name we've given the old GMC) and I said "That's not my truck."

I guess now I know what my truck looked like 20 something years ago.

Mines that color! And the seats did have the zippers by the way and my carpet faded a different color than the wheel wells too.
