NICE but I would have went D60 instead of D44.
I'd buy it if I won the lottery . And just because I could , I would sell the axles for 5 bucks or beer , install 1/2 tons with chro mo's , and 4 inch springs with 37's . I doubt I'd win the lottery though
As high as it is with rear steer Rockwells baby!!!!!
hmmm..... may be onto something here....
is that 1FNHIK5's old truck?
It sure looks like it......"$50,000 in receipts"???
I agree. They spent that much and didn't getat least a D60?
Ya but those backup cameras in the rearview are expensive
Does anyone know the reserve?
Didn't he try to sell it here for $14,000 or something like that.
I thought he had a 60 in it and took it out and sold the truck. Is this the new owner selling it?
For $50,000 I could hire a tv crew to stand behind it.
sweet grocery getter
1FNHIK5 (aka Brad) actually DID sell it....so this must be the "new" owner selling it now....
Looking at his description, I'm pretty sure I see some lies in there (new paint 2 years ago?) I have a picture that I took of my truck parked next to his that dates back something like 4 years ago.... And the truck had already been painted for quite some time.
I dunno, you can add up receipts all you want....but that truck could be built (even in todays dollars) for less than $50K.
Didn't that truck used to have a custom 14bff front axle? I know someone here had one and I thought it was that truck.
Nope, that's a black first gen that's around here somewhere.
Never did get the axle-shafts figured out from what I remember. He's still in school IIRC, so I don't think the R&D budget to finish it is very big these days!!
Well,it sure looks good.I'm sure a bunch of us in here would have done it differently, though. But 50 large?-don't think so...
This is the one you might be thinking of
Great, now I need to clean the drool off my keyboard! Just get some shafts in that thing.
how would you go about putting a driveline in that thing????
